Melissa provides accounting and financial reporting leadership in support of Empire Life Investments Inc.'s business.

Melissa joined Empire Life in January 2023. She was previously a member of the Investor Relations and Corporate Finance team at Sun Life, where she led external reporting processes, such as the Management Discussion and Analysis, or MD&A, financial statements, and Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) filings. More recently, she also assisted with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 17 transition.

Melissa has a Bachelor of Business Administration from British Columbia Institute of Technology. Melissa also holds Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) designations.
