Muhammad joined Empire Life Investments Inc. in 2023, focusing on global macro themes and investment strategy. 

Prior to joining Empire Life Investments, Muhammad worked two previous internships at Big 6 banks, and as a Research Associate at the University of Waterloo School of Accounting and Finance. His research focused on analyzing market trends and providing detailed dossiers on emerging industries. 

Muhammad graduated from the University of Waterloo in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance and a Minor in Economics. As part of his extracurricular activities during his undergraduate career, Muhammad was part of the University of Waterloo Team that won the 2022 CFA Provincial championships in the Annual Investment Research Challenge. Additionally, he actively participated in Student Investment Fund and Business Review. 

Muhammad is currently pursuing his CFA designation and during his spare time enjoys learning about history, space and technology.
